The first 2 weeks

So today is day 14 for Bryce. This is a huge accomplishment for us. We never thought we'd get this far.
So far it has been an incredible ride. Everyday is something new. Either Bryce is having a good day or a bad day. We have had an equal amount of both. He's gone from really bad to really good to really bad again...... Right now we are kind of in between. He is on the conventional vent which is better than the HI-Fi, but he is on very high settings and could go back on the Hi-Fi at any moment. Lets keep our fingers crossed that he will stay on the conventional or even better will go the next step which I believe is CPAP... We'll see. He also has a few other "issues" that I am hoping will turn into nothing. Tomorrow is going to be a pretty stressful day for me, Bryce is having another head ultrasound (3rd one) to follow some "areas" that are not perfect in his brain and he is also having another echo (3rd one also) to follow up on his heart defects and to see if his PDA has closed... Pray that these tests come back clear.
I am going to post some pictures and try to keep them updated so everyone can see him... As you will see is the most handsome boy I know. (I'm a little partial)

Hi Erika,
I love your website! As I read the info and stared at the pictures, I cried. You know me…that’s what I do! I especially love the picture of you and Bryce on your birthday…the one where you are literally glowing with happiness. Big Steven and I will keep praying for You, Stevie, and Bryce. We also keep the girls in our prayers. Keep your faith…that’s what has gotten you this far and it will get you through. We will pray for the day when you bring Bryce home and you glow with happiness again.
Love - NenNen
