Lyme Disease

Well yesterday was an interesting day, Bryce still has his respiratory infection requiring nebs and Orapred.... But Hopefully getting better. THEN Faythe gets up in the morning and I notice what looks to me like the "typical" bullseye rash on her arm and back, I knew right away what it was. I of course call the doctor and we go in. I was right its Lyme Disease. I checked her up and down and could not find the tick but we do remember about 2 weeks ago she had a bite on her arm that we thought was just a bug bite, at that time no bullseye, just a bite. Low and behold 2 weeks later she got the rash. It seems like it may be in stage 2, due to the fact that she has more than one bullseye on her body. She is now on Amoxicillin 3x a day for 3 weeks and then we will go from there....

Happy First (adjusted) Birthday !!!!!!

Well today is Bryce's original due date. He is officially considered a 1 year old!!! We just got back from a sick appt, he has a really bad cough, but its basically just a cold.... They gave him steroids for his lungs. He finally hit the 20 lb mark! We went away this past weekend to the Cape. Nenen and BS took the kids for us. They also went to the Cape but we stayed in different hotels. The weather was perfect. Thanks again Nenen! Will post some pics later.
